“I understand what is important to team travel.  Having a flawless hotel experience contributes to the success of the program. Since this is my own business, I pride myself on the one-on-one personal service and attention I give each program I work with.

I believe in long-term business relationships.  This is my profession. I am very passionate about what I do. I work extremely hard to provide the best services possible to the programs that use my agency.”

- Mark Rosoff, The Hotel Guy

Mark The Hotel Guy’s Story

A native Brooklynite, Mark has had a passion for the hospitality industry ever since he can remember. “The Hotel Guy”, as he is commonly known among peers whom he’s worked with in his 30-plus years of experience in the industry, graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in the Brighton Beach/Coney Island area of New York. From the moment he walked across the stage to receive his high school diploma, he knew what his professional calling would be, plus what and where he would study. Up next for Mark was Boston University’s world-renowned Hotel School. Since earning his bachelor’s, a college internship at Disney World and a place in Cornell’s Summer Professional Development Program, he’s developed solid relationships and a reputable brand name within the hospitality, travel and tourism industries.

Within the past decade, Mark has turned his attention to acting as a “one-man-band” hotel client services operation based in North Carolina, where he specifically assists NCAA athletic teams (college and university sports travel), college tours and youth athletic events requiring overnight lodging. Rather than school administrators and team personnel reserving rooms, Mark acts as the middle man and utilizes his unique skills set in curating the most desirable stay for his clients.

“I have perfected the process of reserving rooms for athletic teams and want to share this with as many programs as possible,” says Mark of the niche that he’s carved out for himself, adding that: “My mission is to save programs time and money and to eliminate dealing directly with hotels.”

“My profession is in the hotel industry,” says Mark about his professional roots. “Since I am a ‘hotel guy’, teams only benefit from my knowledge and understanding of running hotels and their food and beverage operations. When you take my knowledge of the hotel industry and marry that with more than 16 years of team travel planning, my service is second to none.”

Furthermore, Mark has perfected the process of reserving rooms for athletic teams and wants to share this special advice with as many teams and administrators as possible.

As someone who has successfully assisted teams with their lodging requirements for many years - and many more to come - Mark prides himself on his hard work ethic, the passion he brings to every situation and maintaining business relationships as well as cultivating new ones.

“I know the lodging aspect of an athletic program is so important to the success of the trip,” Mark says. “I work very hard for all the programs who work with me and enjoy being a part of the winning combination.”
